Terror Alert Level

Tuesday, July 18, 2006

So today as I'm getting ready for work, I realize I'm three days late on one of my loan payments and I have two others due soon and credit card bill to pay. I grabbed all of it and first things first at work, I calculated it all and paid it all up. I know have just enough money to feed myself until the next pay check. Then of course that pay check will pay for rent, so needless to say. Things are tight, but what's new.

Oh yeah, I have another pile of enornomous debt building up. As, I mentioned last week the doctor thought I had mono. Of course I tried all week to find out if I did. Still haven't hear from him and it's Tuesday. Anyway, it doesn't matter what he says now, cause Friday was a wild day. I headed to work as nothing was different. I started my work, I had three ads that needed to be sent to pubs, so I started plugging away at it. My Friend at work took on look and me and said I needed to go to doctor right away. The rash I had been developing since Tues had finally almost covered my whole body, my face was completely red. She thought I was dying. Anyway, I tried to contact my family doctor, but he was closed on Friday and seemed really annoyed that I tried to call him when I finally got to talk to him. He said go to urgent care.

So one of the lady's at work looked up a place close by. Shortly after having finished sending ads, me and my friend jumped in the car for the nearest help. Unfortunately, this place was closed. We asked dentist above it what was going on. They said it was suppose to open a week ago but no one showed up. Just my luck. Fortunately I looked at places myself and I knew of a place that wasn't much further. So we got there and they took one look and me and freaked out. I've never had care so fast. I didn't even have time to finish paperwork they rushed me back so fast.

I got two shots and then I had to do a breathing thing. The breathing thing made me sick to my stomach. So they freaked out a bit, and called for an ambulance. Then gave me another shot. They hooked me up with an IV and shortly after two hottie ambulance works came to pick me up. They didn't have to do much cause the urgent care people did it all. Anyway, I never thought my first ambulance ride would be when I was 23 but we never really image it. It was funny, one of the guys was asking me what I did and stuff. I told him all about the day at work and how I had to work two hours before getting to a doctor. I looked at the monitor and my heart rate when up 15 beats a min. when I talked about work. Yeah, I might be a bit stressed out.

Anyway, once at the hosptial I explained the mono thing. So they gave me a test and an hour later it was confirmed that I did indeed have mono. But the rash they are pretty sure was from the antibiotics I had to take for my foot infection. They said it is a very common drug to be allergic to and that the allergy generally happens when the full dose is done. This is exactly what happened. Anyway, the rash is slowly going away. The gave some meds to help which now I'm a bit paranoid to take, but the paramacy reassured me that the allergies to these are uncommon.

Anyway, I've haven't been working to hard. I'm not working full days right now cause I need to get some rest. They are all go with it at work as long as my work is done on time. Well, I should get back to work. The sooner I get work done the sooner I get to go sleep. I'm hoping to be back to my full spunky self soon. Laters.
