Terror Alert Level

Friday, August 26, 2005

You know that feeling I had about not being very good at work and that they might fire me. Well, I was pretty close to right. Today they took me in and told me that they wanted me to just be an intern. So I would go to having an hourly salary to getting only compensated for gas and probably won't get enough to really cover gas.

Anyway, I just can't afford to do this and now I feel like crap. I can't even hold down a job for 4 weeks. I found out that the school district might be willing to hire me. So we'll have to see how that goes. I can't believe how, yesterday I felt great and I thought things were looking up and today everything's in the crapper.

Now I need to contact them and tell them my decision. Then I'm going to have to go back for my turtle. The poor little thing. Maybe I should just leave him there. No I better go get him. Next week, I guess.

Well I have lots of work to do, but before I go here is a recap of the Coldplay concert.

So me and my roommate are broke, but decided last minute yesterday to hop in the car and head to cricket pavillion in hopes of purchasing the great lawn tickets. Once we got there (at about 7:30) we saw a guy trying to sell his tickets. They were good seats in the middle section under the roof. Dead center. He wanted $50 a piece. So we forked out the extra $10 each for actual seats. This was really good deal since the seats had original cost $70.

I would not of dropped $70 for a concert even if it was Keith Urban. Okay I probably would for Keith Urban. Alright back to the concert. I really enjoyed it. There was cool things on a screen behind them and they music was great as was expected. For a long time, no one was sitting near us. We had tons of room. At some point during the concert the people came for their seats, but soon left. The only problem I had was that some tall guy was two rows in front of me and I could bearly see.

But it's all good. It took forever to get out of the parking lot, but we managed just fine and arrived home around 12:15. Then I had to go to bed to go to work. And if you go back to the top of this entry you'll remember what happened at work today. Apparently, I was too slow for them. They wanted a web designer and a fast one.

Okay I'm off. I'll be watching Harry Potter tonight and hopefully having a drink.
