I have decided that thursdays are bad. Yesterday was a very eventfully day.
First of all, I had visitors, Tyson and his friends came to visit. We decided to go to a spring training game out at the Suprise Stadium. So I drove my car and his friend Jason came with me. Tyson and the other two followed me.
About half way there, Tyson's car was rearended. The person who hit him tried to run. From what I heard, he tracked the vehicle down and filed a report. I tried to follow Tyson but I lost him. So I continued to head to the game.
Then my car began to shake. I thought it is just the road it is really rough. Then at a red light, I was the first in the line, my car died. I then tried to turn it on again. I worked for a second then died again. At this time, we were in Sun City, lets just say this is where most of the retired folks live. Out of six cars surrounding me there was one person who was actually a guy who could help.
So as i steered the car, Jason and this nice stranger helped push my car out of traffic to a dirt lot. At this point, we were unable to contact Tyson and the others because they are crazy and not one of them have a cell phone. So, I called my friend Robert, who was more than willing to come and get me.
Robert brought along John who was also very nice and helped out. Fortunately, I broke down close to a Napa. We went over and bought a towing rope or whatever it is called. Then we realized that Robert had locked his keys in his car, so he called his wife, Amy who had her boss drive her all the way out to where we were so we could get the car unlocked.
After she got there, we went back to the car and got everything hooked up. Because of a call from Tyson and Ken, we found out that they didn't want to drive back through town to pick up Jason. So we were to leave Jason at the scene and hope for them to get him. Well just as we were leaving with my car Ken pulled up to get Jason.
Jason was going to steer my car as Robert towed it, but instead John did. I'm really glad that Rob brought John, cause it would of been scared sitting in my car like that. Anyway, there was a garage that was farely close to where we were that Amy had been to before for things. So we took my car there.
Know get this, we get there and my car started right up. The guy even drove my car around a little to see what was wrong and he said that it seemed fine. The looked at everything and all looked okay. They tried to hook it up to their computer system, but it was unable to read my car's computer.
So he told me about a place that specialized in car computers. I had him keep my car and take it to them. I called today and he said that their computers said that my car was fine. So I guess I will be picking up my car tomorrow. I still think that something has to be wrong.
Anyway after, Robert and them dropped me off, I decided to walk to school and see if anyone from my Wed. night class was around. I didn't find anyone, but Coleen was there and I got a ride home from her. On our way home we stopped at Office Max. I saw Jessica from school and she showed me here logo book for graduation. It was pretty cool.
We then decided to go eat a a new chinese restaurant down by sprouts. It was quite taste. There we decided to see if Amy or Robert were going to use there tickets to go to the Everclear and Cake concert. Robert decided not to go, John couldn't go and Amy wanted to go, so Coleen and I decided we would got to the concert with her.
After dinner, when i got home i found out that my jeans were riped. I'm not talking a small ripe either it was on the back of my jeans. Okay actually the butt of my jeans the ripe was so big that almost one whole cheek was was out of my jeans. I'm not sure if anyone noticed, my shirt was long enough I think.
I can't believe I didn't notice. I just must of been so occupied by everything else I didn't notice any breeze cause with the size of the whole there should of been a breeze. Anyway, the only thing I can think of that might of riped my jeans that much was the base of the stop light Jason and I sat on waiting from Robert.
So after changing we went to get Amy for the concert. While we were walking out the door, one of the dogs escaped. Robert ran after the dog. Amy got in their car and Coleen in her car went to chase the dog. Fortunately, Amy and Robert were able to get the dog before she got on to the freeway. They put the dog back in the house and we were able to get to the conert.
Well, my favorite pair of jeans is now no longer. I have a sunburn that makes me look like a tomato and the guy at the car garage probably thinks I'm crazy. And to top it all off. Dozens of people probably saw my underwear yesterday, but that's life. The concert was good, the line to get in was ridiculously long, but it was really cool to be able to go.
