Terror Alert Level

Sunday, March 14, 2004

Today was rather productive if I say so myself. Kendra and I went to downtown Scottsdale and looked around a bit, but our feet got tired.

So we went to the Scottsdale Fashion Mall. I wanted to get a caramel apple from the Rocky Mt. Choco. Factory. They have great caramel apples. All different kinds. I got one that had pieces of Snickers on the caramel. It was pretty good, but I should of just got the M&M caramel apple.

I bought a new purse at Dillard's only $7. That's a good deal. I've always thought that I would never need a purse, but turns out there are things you need to carry around with you. Like cell phone and wallet and keys and small camera (just in case). You know the necessities.

So after the mall, we went to a different mall that is much closer to our apartment. It has a two dollar movie theater, so we went to see the movie "Something's Gotta Give". It wasn't bad, but really it is more of an old person romance story. Watching old people makeout is really kind of gross. I'm sure when I'm old my opinion may change.

Speaking of old people making out. When Kendra, Traci and I went to Rodeo Nights there was this old couple (I'm guessing they would about 70 something). This old couple was out on the dance floor getting freakier than anyone else in the bar. It is bad when old people are freakier than young people. I guess when you're that old you just don't care anymore. It was nasty.

Now that I've grossed you all out and myself, I'll tell you about my McDonald's encounter. While killing time before the movie. We decided to order a quick snack at Mickey D's. I went up the the counter and I was like can I get a 10 piece chicken nuggets. He was made a funny face like uhm we don't have those here, but he was just joking around with me. Then I was like can I get two small pops.
The guy was like "what? pop".
I was like sorry "soda".
"Oh okay, most people say soda or coke." "How small do you want those sodas? Really small or what?"
I keep my cool and said "you know the small ones"
"Here or to go?"
"Uhm here"
"So you can stick around and annoy me?" I think he wanted me to annoy him, but he was kind of annoying. He thought he was pretty funny.

Anyway, I stood there waiting for the food. After he finished taking orders from other people he asked me if he could help me again. I was like you already helped me. I'm just waiting for my food. "I know, I just wanted to see you smile. I like your smile." Fortunately, at this time the food was ready and I didn't have to talk to him anymore. I think the Mickey D's boy was flirting just a little bit.

So that is about it for today. I have another story about the guy at the movie theater ticket booth, but that can wait for another day. I realize I have use the word "like" alot today. Hopefully, I will not do that in my next post. Hope all you on Spring Break are having fun. :)
